Ingredients you’ll need
→ Guava Juice
→ Tequila
→ Guava Slices
→ Fresh lime
→ Mint Leaves
→ Ice
Items you’ll need
→ A shaker (or two cups of different sizes)
→ A jigger for measuring
→ A drink strainer (or a strainer you use for regular ole’ spaghetti)
→ A cup or glass of choice
This recipe makes a drink for one, but it can easily be repeated to make a few extra drinks for friends!
Steps for making your guava cocktail
Step 1:
Get your shaker and set your glass or cup to the side
Step 2:
Start out with 3 ounces of guava juice and add it to the shaker
Step 3:
Add 1 ounce or 1 ½ ounce of tequila (your choice)
Step 4:
Grab some mint and put it on your palm and clap it, then crumple it a little to get the flavor out of it and drop it in your shaker
Step 5:
Grab a lime and squeeze half an ounce of lime juice into the shaker
Step 6:
Top the shaker and shake it like in the movies!
Step 7:
Take the top cup off and strain the drink into a glass with ice (ice is optional)
Step 8:
Rub a slice of guava along the rim and leave it on the top as a garnish
Step 9:
Add a few more pieces of mint and your drink is ready to go!
Tip: If you don’t have a shaker, use two cups that are two different sizes to achieve the same result!
Don’t worry if your drink doesn’t go all the way to the top of the cup, you can always add more ice.
